CCTV Camera Committee

The CCTV Camera Maintenance Committee is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, regular monitoring, maintenance, and effective use of CCTV surveillance systems across the college campus. The committee conducts periodic inspections of cameras, recording systems, monitors, storage devices, and related equipment to identify technical faults and arrange timely repairs or replacement. It ensures that CCTV cameras adequately cover important areas such as classrooms, laboratories, library, corridors, entrances, parking areas, examination halls, and other sensitive locations. The committee examines proposals submitted by departments and ensures that the proposed visit is academically relevant to the prescribed curriculum and learning outcomes. It obtains necessary permission from the Principal and concerned authorities, verifies the itinerary, transportation, accommodation and safety arrangements, and coordinates with host institutions, industries, research organizations, museums, historical places and other educational sites. The committee ensures proper documentation, including student lists, consent forms, undertaking forms, emergency contact details, insurance/safety requirements and tour reports. It also coordinates with faculty members accompanying students, maintains discipline and student safety during the visit, monitors attendance and ensures proper utilization of approved funds.
